III. Product Introduction
Supercapacitors have hundreds of times longer life than electrochemical batteries and do not require maintenance, so the total cost of supercapacitors applied to electric vehicles is much lower than that of electric vehicles with general electrochemical batteries. The largest investment is in hybrid electric vehicles. Hybrid electric vehicles are applied supercapacitors to supplement the power, and at the same time, supercapacitors are applied to store the energy generated during braking. Therefore, electric vehicles have the advantages of fast start, fast acceleration and strong hill climbing ability after applying supercapacitors. Meanwhile, due to the characteristics of supercapacitors, they are widely used in the fields of industry, communication, apparatus and transportation.

Supercapacitor module has the following advantages.
1、High capacity: The capacity of super capacitor can reach up to thousand farads, which is thousands of times higher than the capacity of tantalum electrolytic capacitor and aluminum electrolytic capacitor of the same volume.
2、Long life of super capacitor module (100,000 times of charging); short life of lead-acid battery (500 times of charging), easy to damage and difficult to manage, 20-200 times of lead-acid battery can share the same fate with the equipment.
3、Short charging time: Supercapacitor adopts high current for charging and can be fully charged quickly in seconds to minutes, while the battery needs several minutes even for fast charging, and frequent fast charging will also affect the battery life.
4、High charging and discharging efficiency of super capacitor module (98%); low charging and discharging efficiency of lead-acid battery (70%).
5、The power density of super capacitor module is high (10.000W/kg); the power density of lead-acid battery is low (300W/kg), which is more than 30 times different.
6、Supercapacitor module is completely maintenance-free, working temperature range (-40~50); lead-acid battery electric vehicle range at -40℃ is reduced by 90%, while supercapacitor is only reduced by 10%.
7、Super capacitor module has strong energy recovery in electric bus, emergency braking energy recovery is up to 75%; lead-acid battery energy recovery is only 5%, which is too important for public bus and can save a lot of fuel.
8、The relative cost of super capacitor module is low. The price of super capacitor is twice as high as that of lead-acid battery, and the price will drop after mass production; however, the life of super capacitor is 10 times higher than that of lead-acid battery, which is very important for the industrialization of public buses.
